100 DAY CELEBRATION
This was a busy month for the Jr/Sr Committee. We had Prom on May 15, followed by the senior walk reception on May 17, the rising Senior Surprise on May 20 and concluded by the last senior surprise on Thursday, May 21.
The Junior and Senior Classes had an enchanted night under the stars in the beautiful Ballroom at the St. Regis/ Marsa Arabia - The Pearl. Dinner and dancing was enjoyed by all that attended. A huge thank you to the prom committee for all their efforts in making this a night to remember for the juniors and seniors.
The rising senior surprise for the class of 2027 was held on Wednesday, May 20. The juniors were treated to a "Friends" themed surprise.The lounge was transformed into the "Central Perk Cafe", the juniors had a coffee bar, a snack bar, inspirational memorandum items and a beautiful photobooth with "The couch". A big thanks to all the parents that helped to organize this surprise for the class of 2027!
Finally, the last senior surprise for the class of 2026 was held on Thursday, May 21. The seniors were happy and surprised as they exited the GYM after their graduation rehearsal and it was just amazing!!!! The seniors were treated with Class of 2026 luggage tags, other memorandum items, cupcakes, sandwiches and juices. A lovely way to bid our seniors farewell Thank you to all the parents who planned, organized and helped make this surprise special. Class of 2026, Oh the places you'll go! The Class of 2026 celebrated their last 100 days as students at ASD at the 100 Day Celebration and Lantern Ceremony on Wednesday. Our seniors were treated to a catered buffet dinner, a theater presentation with the Then and Now Video, a special Alumni Speaker from the class of 2017, and culminated with the "Lighting of the Lamps" ceremony. A huge thank you to the senior moms and junior moms who helped make this event a success. The committee also wishes to thank the parents who attended, the ASD communication team, ASD security, ASD HS office, Acciona, Costa, and Ms. Gabrila, and finally, A big shout-out to Dr. Guthrie, Mrs. Mendes, and Mr. Sage. The Jr/Sr committee held its annual Valentine Market this Thursday in the HS Cafeteria, and it was a great success. Thank you to all our parent volunteers, and we wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day.
This morning, the seniors were treated to an amazing February Surprise and the theme was "All you need is love and pizza" The seniors the seniors were treated with a slice of pizza and home baked goods.
Thank you to all the lovely parents who organized and participated in making yet another beautifully done senior surprise.

The Class of 2026 was treated to a delicious pancake breakfast for the January Senior Surprise. They were served American-style pancakes with a variety of toppings, such as fruit, cream, and Nutella, to name a few. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped make this happen!

The Senior Class of 2026 had a fun holiday surprise from our lovely and proud moms from the Jr./Sr. Committee this morning. The seniors were treated to a hot chocolate bar and a class of 2026 mug. Donuts were also served to add an extra sweetness to their morning.
